R.O. sketch from Fanaticon

Check out this R.O. sketch I did at Fanaticon in Asheville, NC on May 15. The young lady also picked up a copy of my novel, Evil Ways, hence R.O.'s commentary in the sketch.

I love to sketch so if you see me at a show please don't hesitate to bring me your sketchbook.

Happy Birthday, Mel.

My brother, Wes, the inspiration for Life In The Faster Lane's Mel, turns 30 today, which makes makes me feel really old. Here's the envelope for the card I gave him. In the strip, Mel is still 12.
And just for kicks, here's a few of our favorite Mel moments from Life In The Faster Lane.

Happy Birthday, Wes. Thanks for being such aninspiration.
